Questionnaire Summary

We asked thirty people questions about a college magazine and what they would like to see in it if they bought it. We got answers from both males and females, so that we could get a wider range of results. But more females filled in the questionnaire than males. Most people responded with ‘yes’ to the question ‘would you buy a college magazine?’ More than half said they would be willing to pay 50p for the magazine, with the rest saying they would pay nothing. The unpopular choices were anything higher than 50p. When asked how often they would buy it, the most common answer was monthly and the most uncommon answer was weekly. We had a vast range of topics that people had to choose three options from, with the highest three chosen being: Food, Music and Gaming. The lowest chosen were: UCAS, Sport and Local Events. We let people write down their own colours and the majority of people that participated in the questionnaire said black, purple, blue, red and white would attract them to the magazine. More than three quarters of people said that freebies would encourage them to buy it, with food being the highest option, followed by concert tickets. Just over half of the participants said ‘yes’ to an online version of the magazine, but three quarters of them said ‘no’ to email notifications. Only a quarter of the participants said ‘yes’ to any contribution to the magazine.
